Barton in the Beans Large Model Flying Group (13-05-12)An open day was held at the flying field on Sunday 13th May and attracted many local people who were able to meet members of the Group, see the model aircraft close up and try their hand at flying them using a buddy box system.
The Group will be applying for planning permission for change of use of the flying field from agricultural to the flying of model aircraft later this year. Carlton Parish Council would welcome views on this proposal, and in particular on whether there should be restrictions on the days of the week or times of day when the models can be flown.
